In a quiet courtyard, Flori opened a travel card with five empty circles. Luna tucked her paws neatly beneath her. ‘Let's see what shapes South Korea can stamp,’ he said.

A palace roof
At Changdeokgung, tiled roofs curved upward above painted wooden eaves. The first stamp became one graceful roof line.

A turning fortress wall
Hwaseong's wall followed the green hill, turning toward gates and watchtowers. Its zigzag path filled the second circle.

Stone stairs at Bulguksa
At Bulguksa, paired stone stairways climbed toward colorful temple halls. Flori stamped one staircase while Luna counted the steps.

A river bend at Hahoe
The Nakdong River made a wide curl around Hahoe's tiled and thatched houses. A blue river bend joined the card.

A volcanic cone on Jeju
At sunrise, Seongsan Ilchulbong rose from Jeju's coast with a grassy crater inside its rocky rim. The cone-shaped stamp completed the set.

A card full of places
Back in a lantern-lit courtyard, the five stamps sat in a row: roof, wall, stairs, river, cone. Each small mark opened a very big memory.
