On Christmas Eve, Grandpa read the old poem twice, and then the whole farmhouse went quiet as a mouse. Outside, something went ting. Flori knelt in the snow and lifted a small silver bell on a red ribbon. It was still warm. A reindeer had lost it—and the sleigh would be leaving at midnight.
