Blue among the green
At the edge of the quay, Luna's nose pointed toward the reeds. There, between two green stems, bobbed a little blue boat. Flori crouched on the dry stones to look.

Not far, not deep
The boat was close to the edge, but the reeds held its tiny sail. Luna stayed safely on four paws. Flori found a long fallen twig and gently pulled the reeds apart.

A name underneath
Drip, drip, went the boat on the quay. Under its blue hull was a small painted sun. 'Someone will know this boat,' said Flori.

Past the tiled houses
They carried the boat past blue-and-white tiles, flowerpots, and doors glowing in the afternoon light. Luna sniffed every corner, but she did not find the owner yet.

A worried face
Near the last bench sat a child with two empty hands. 'My barco azul,' the child said softly—my blue boat. Luna's tail began to thump.

The little painted sun
Flori turned the boat over. The child saw the painted sun and smiled. 'That is mine!' The little sail gave one proud flutter.

Home to its harbor
The child held the boat with both hands. Flori waved, and Luna stood happily on four paws beside him. Down at the water, the evening boats rocked as if they were waving too.
