Five quiet sound windows
High above Rio's blue bay, Flori found a bright listening wheel with five quiet windows. Luna turned one ear toward the mountains and one toward the sea. ‘Let's remember how each place sounds,’ said Flori.

Whoosh between mountain and sea
A soft ocean breeze moved across Rio, past the curving shore and green peaks. Above the city, the pale monument on Corcovado stretched its arms toward the view. The first window filled with a long whoosh.

Rumble at Iguaçu
At Iguaçu, many waterfalls dropped together across a great curved edge. Mist rose above the forest and a soft rainbow appeared. The second window remembered the deep waterfall rumble.

Tap across Brasília
In Brasília, Flori and Luna followed the long green axis between white modernist buildings. Their steps made tiny taps across the broad plaza. The third window saved the neat city rhythm.

Clip-clop in Salvador
In Salvador's historic centre, colorful façades leaned along a sloping cobbled square. Little footsteps clicked from stone to stone while church towers rose above the roofs. The fourth window kept the cobblestone beat.

Hush across the white dunes
At Lençóis Maranhenses, wind drew curved lines across white dunes. Blue and turquoise lagoons rested in the hollows after the rainy season. The final window filled with the lightest sandy hush.

Five sounds together
At twilight, the wheel played their gentle pattern: whoosh, rumble, tap, clip-clop, hush. Flori smiled. Luna's tail kept the beat. Five sounds now held five very different parts of Brazil.
