A bag with five empty spaces
On the Champ de Mars, Flori opened his little navy travel bag. Five soft outlines waited on the front. Luna tapped one with a careful paw. ‘France can help us fill them,’ said Flori.

A lattice tower in Paris
The Eiffel Tower rose on four wide iron legs, then narrowed high above the trees. Flori pressed a soft tower patch onto the first space. Luna looked through its little crisscross openings.

An abbey above the tide
At Mont-Saint-Michel, stone walls and roofs climbed the rocky islet toward the abbey spire. Pale sand and shallow water spread across the bay. A silver abbey patch fit the second space.

A roof full of chimneys
At Chambord, round towers stood at the corners of the pale château. Above them, chimneys, lanterns, and slate roofs made a tiny skyline. Flori chose a soft blue chimney patch.

Three levels across the river
Pont du Gard crossed the Gardon on three stacked rows of warm-stone arches. Luna counted low, middle, high. An arch patch filled the fourth space on the bag.

Walls inside walls
At Carcassonne, one stone wall wrapped around another. Round towers guarded the town and castle inside. The last patch was a little turret with a dark cone roof.

A travel bag full of France
At sunset, Flori and Luna touched every patch: tower, abbey, chimney, aqueduct, turret. The little bag now carried five real places—and five pictures they could recognize again.
